Melbourne City Ballet Theatre is truly vested in giving back to our community. In addition to our Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella & Swan Lake productions at the King Center for the Performing Arts, MCBT has also partnered with our local Senior Living Community to provide, on a monthly rotation, dance performances which offer activity and entertainment for the residents.

MCBT has hosted our first Scholarship Event in June 2021 and will be offering Ballet Scholarships for youth in need. Our organization also donates tickets annually to Brevard Family Partnership, Scott Center of Autism, Promise of Brevard, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, the entire dance team at Stone Middle school and many other organizations that have less access to the dance arts. MCBT has done school outreach at Indialantic Elementary School having developed a student led curriculum for grades K - 6 to educate students about ballet’s mental and physical health benefits through physical education classes.

MCBT has performed at area festivals and has continued its dedicated efforts for the community through these trying times of Covid. We are putting Brevard County on the national and international dance map.

MCBT company performs regularly at senior centers in the area since our inception. Some of the notable outreach activities include: Aging Matters/Meals on Wheels Brevard, Chateau Madeleine, Kids World at Melbourne Arts Festival, Ballroom Dance Performance at Brookdale Senior Living, Greenwood Place, Zon Beachside Assisted Living, and with the American Muscle Car Museum on multiple occasions to benefit local not-for-profit organizations.
